Big changes are happening here at Golspie Golf Club, and we couldn’t be more excited!
Thanks to funding from the Scottish Government’s Community and Renewable Energy Scheme (CARES) through Local Energy Scotland, we’ve made some incredible upgrades to our clubhouse.
With a brand-new air source heat pump, solar panels, and a battery storage system in place, we’re stepping confidently into a greener, more sustainable future.

Their commitment to sustainability is more than just a service – they’re leading by example – currently transforming their Renewable Innovation Centre into a net-zero building, RI Cruden walks the talk, proving their dedication to a greener world.
As specialists in renewable energy, the team offers businesses a complete solution for reducing carbon footprints, from initial carbon assessments to the design and implementation of energy-efficient systems. It was this expertise and “one-stop-shop” approach that made them the perfect partner for our project, helping us seamlessly integrate our new solar panels, heat pump, and battery storage into our clubhouse.

The installation of a state-of-the-art air source heat pump ensures that our clubhouse remains warm and welcoming, no matter the season – or changing Scottish weather – while the solar panels and battery storage provide a reliable and sustainable power supply that we can count on year-round.
